AIM FOR EDUCATION is a $20,000 merit-based scholarship program for Texas 4-H & FFA members participating in the FWSSR's Jr. Shooting Sports Competition. The program tests high school senior competitors on a robust curriculum covering shooting and wildlife/land conservation topics. Top-scoring contestants on the online exam will advance to an in-person presentation to a 3 judge panel.

  • Open to high school seniors
  • No cost to enter
  • Must have competed in the FWSSR Junior Shooting Sports Competition for 2 years (inclusive of the current year)
  • Online exam with top scores advancing to in person presentation

schedule:

  • Study materials released by June 14
  • Monday, September 09 - Friday, September 13 (Online Proctored Exam)
  • Sat., Oct. 5 - Finalist's Presentation to Judges Panel

  • 50-Question Online Exam
  • Top 10 Scoring Contestants Advance to Finalist Presentations

Eligible participants will be allowed ONE OPPORTUNITY to take the online exam and must participate in the Jr. Shooting Sports Competition.

Online testing instructions and registration information for the Educational Information Challenge will be emailed to applicants upon completion of entry.
