2026 Calf Scramble

ONLINE MONTHLY REPORTING - winners

Monthly reports must be mailed to your sponsor, as well as submitted electronically to the Calf Scramble Office, on or before the last day of every month.

Beginning with the month of June, you are required to submit a monthly report on your project. You must devise your own method of record keeping and your monthly reports should be made in the form of a letter. These reports, as well as any photographs, folders, etc., should be mailed to your sponsor.

2026 SCRAMBLERS

Run in the dirt under the bright lights at Dickies Arena
Entry Applications are to be submitted by the County Extension Agent or Agricultural Science Teacher as a group
20 Participants and 10 Winners per Performance
Each kid that does not catch a calf will receive a FREE pair of Justin Boots, courtesy of the Justin Boot Company
Each of the 230 Winners will be issued a $500 Purchase Certificate to use towards the purchase of a registered Beef or Dairy Heifer

The Calf Scramble is held during 23 rodeo performances:

2 Best of the West Ranch Rodeo
Cowboys of Color Rodeo
2 Bulls Night Out
FWSSR PRORODEO Rookie Rally
17 FWSSR PRORODEO Tournament performances running January 23 through February 6

There will not be a Calf Scramble held during Best of Mexico Celebración on January 18 and the FWSSR PRORODEO Tournament Finals on February 7.
