Judging Contest

The Equine IQ Contest gives youth the opportunity to earn scholarships by being tested on their knowledge of horse care and management. Written exams as well as hands-on testing are requirements for all three age divisions (see below). The top five placing senior division competitors are required to give a speech on an equine industry issue. The Equine IQ Contest is conducted by the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo and the Texas A&M University Equine Institute.
