Be A Fan
On March 30, 2004, Truman (aka Trumey) was welcomed into his forever home via the Southwest Missouri Humane Society. Always adventurous, Trumey never passed an opportunity to sneak out and hunt for trouble. He wasn't fond of cats or other small creatures who ran from his sinister intentions.
Fiercely independent, Trumey wasn't overly affectionate but did appreciate an occasional scratch behind the ear. Sometimes it seemed his only motivations were cheeseburgers and car rides. When he wasn't sleeping he could be found wrestling with his brothers and running laps around the house. His mischievousness and human-like grin made everyone instantly fall in love with him.
On December 2, 2019, after a brief battle with canine cognitive disorder, Trumey passed away. To honor our beloved friend and give back to the rescue agencies who provide second chances to so many, we created Trumey.
