“Sherman” has been on the ranch since the end of his 3-year-old year. Started as a reined cow horse in one of the best cow horse programs in Oklahoma, he made his show pen debut at pre futurities and became an NRCHA money earner. His strong foundation made it easy for him to transition from show horse to ranch horse. Used extensively on the ranch in the unforgiving east Texas and western Louisiana terrain, he has proved to stay
sound and sane for all classes of riders. Sherman has an impressive résumé of duties, from prowling and doctoring feeders, high school rodeo queen contest, NRCHA turn-back mount, ranch rodeos, pick-up horse, and most recently, he’s become quite the switch-ender for jackpot ropings. Sherman is quiet in the box, leaves flat and rates perfectly. This one will be a hard one to replace.
