Robby and Danielle White have been at it a long time. Lots of shows. Lots of miles. Lots of songs. Lots of life. Lots of love.
The story started in 1993. The two met at a singing competition as wide eyed teenagers, married 6 months later, and have been inseparable ever since.
Robby, an award-winning songwriter and long-time veteran of the Texas music scene, and Danielle, an award winning singer are known for their Tex-Centric lyrics, tight vocal blends, and traditional country harmonies. (not to mention the playful, competitive banter between the two that makes the audience feel like they're in on something.)
In 2020, the duo moved to South Padre Island, Texas, where they quickly built a large, loyal following leading to appearances on the nationally syndicated Television shows “Texas Music Scene TV with Jack Ingram” and PBS’s “Travelscope.”
These two sing together (and pick on each other) like only people who've been married for 3 decades can. Engaging, sincere, funny, irreverent and just plain fun. That's what you can expect from a Whites of Texas show.
