Gunnar Latham was born into a church-going and country music-loving family in San Marcos, Texas. Growing up around horses and cattle most of his life, Gunnar’s first love was rodeo. He participated in steer wrestling, team roping, and tie-down in high school, college, and even professionally. Gunnar also discovered a passion for performing and singing at an early age. First in his father’s church, then around the horse trailers after rodeos, and eventually in the honky-tonks of central Texas.

With eyes on a rodeo dream and a heart full of music, Gunnar eventually found himself stuck between the two, and in late 2019, Gunnar decided to go all in on a music career. He dedicated himself to honing his skills as a writer and performer. His work has been paying off with a growing Texas fan base, the signing of his first publishing deal, and booking by Chad Kudelka of CAA. The future looks bright for this Texas cowboy.
