Shepherd's Valley Cowboy Church was founded by Russ and Anna Weaver in July of 1997 as an outreach to folks of the western world culture. They retired in 2023 from the Lead Pastor role, but still remain active in leadership and the church body. Pastor Johnny and Stephanie became lead pastors in January 2023 after being on staff for 10 years at SVCC. Each Sunday morning, Pastor Johnny delivers uncompromised truth from God's Word with relevant teaching straight from the Bible.

SVCC is the hub to many cowboy church ministries and is the main filming location of RFD-TV's Cowboy Church TV program. Expect an hour-long service with music and teaching.
