Jonathan Terrell has roots music in his blood. Born into a family of ex-cult member musicians, he entered this world in the back room of a trailer hidden out among the deep pines of East Texas. Making music and working horses was all he knew. Songwriting was an amusement for him until a fateful drive out to see the Pacific. Somewhere among the painted rock desert of Arizona he had an epiphany--a voice--that overtook him there on that endless, scorching blacktop. "You will make music," the desert whispered to him. "You will make music." Since moving to Austin, Texas and pursuing a career as a solo artist, Terrell has bloomed into a songwriter of deeply moving and resonant country music explorations
