FORT WORTH STOCK SHOW PREMIUM LISTS AVAILABLE FORT WORTH, TEXAS

Premium Lists for the 112th Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show were recently mailed to more than 5,500 potential exhibitors for the 2008 Show, scheduled for January 11 through February 3. Containing information on a variety of pertinent show information, the Premium List is an exhibitor’s guidebook on judging schedules, rules, classifications and premiums for beef and dairy cattle, horses, donkeys, mules, sheep, swine, llamas, goats, poultry, pigeons and rabbits. December 1 is the entry deadline for livestock and horse entries, while poultry, pigeon and rabbit entries have until December 30. Anticipating more than 22,000 world class animals on exhibit, the Show will again highlight livestock from not only Texas, but across the nation. Seventeen auctions will provide buyers with the opportunity to purchase the best market animals, performance horses and seed stock the livestock industry has to offer. The Stock Show also features over 200,000 square feet of commercial exhibits and six acres of exciting carnival and midway. Besides exhibits and midway excitement the Stock Show offers several action-packed entertainment choices to suit any taste. Ranching Heritage Weekend begins the 24-day run of the Show with the ever-popular “Best of the West” Ranch Rodeo featuring action from eight of the nation’s top ranch rodeo teams. The traditions and heritage of the Mexican Charro are displayed at the “Best of Mexico Celebración” providing spectators with a combination of exciting Mexican rodeo events coupled with the beauty and splendor of mariachi music and folklorico dancing. “Bulls Night Out” follows, giving everyone a thrill-a-minute as the nation’s top PRCA bull riders compete for separate championships during two thrilling performances. Last but not least, the PRCA and PWBR’s best show up for 30 performances of the World’s Original Indoor Rodeo. The Will Rogers Coliseum can fill up quickly, so you want to get your ticket orders in early to assure the best seating. Tickets may be ordered by mail through the Stock Show office at P.O.
