NEW PARKING OPTIONS AVAILABLE TO STOCK SHOW VISITORS

Fort Worth, Texas – Visitors to the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo now have new options for vehicle parking. The recently constructed Harley Street Parking Lot was recently opened and awaits visitors to the 111th Stock Show & Rodeo.

“We’re excited about this new and spacious facility that will provide visitors with more options for safe and convenient parking,” said W.R. Watt, president / manager. “The Harley Street enhances our ability to provide visitors with an enjoyable experience”

The lot features 2,000 spaces and is well illuminated for visitor safety and convenience. Access is provided by two entrances, both on Harley Street, which is adjacent to the Will Rogers Complex on the South side of the livestock barns.

Additional convenient parking will be available in the spacious University of North Texas Health Science Center parking facility. The 650-space parking garage will be open for patrons on Saturdays and Sundays with parking attendants and security officers on duty during hours of operation.

The convenient, well-lighted parking facility is located one and a half blocks north of the main entry gate to the Will Rogers Memorial Center, and patrons can access the garage at 3400 Camp Bowie Blvd. Consistent with other Stock Show parking lots, a $6.00 per car charge will apply.

In addition, for the convenience of weekend visitors, the Stock Show Shuttle is available every half hour from 10 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Park and ride from Billy Bob’s in the Stockyards or Ridgmar Mall (by Macy’s) for only $1 each way – or ride free with a rail/bus transit pass, monthly pass or EPass.

Now in its 111th year, the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo features entertainment events for the entire family, including livestock shows and educational experiences. Scheduled for January 12 – February 4, this year’s other highlights include: the Ranching Heritage Weekend featuring the “Best of the West” Ranch Rodeo, the AQHA Best of the Remuda Sale and the Invitational Ranch Horse Show and Sale; “Best of Mexico Celebración,” showcasing the richness of Mexican vaquero tradition; “Bulls Night Out” PRCA extreme bull riding; and 30 exciting performances of the World’s Original Indoor Rodeo.
